China Securities Network News (Reporter Dong Tian) On February 6, the reporter learned that the omni-channel digital retail solution service provider DMALL has gradually embarked on the road of internationalization. It has now successfully entered the Singapore, Cambodia and Poland markets, providing digital transformation solutions for Dairy Farm and Metro Europe.
It is understood that retail enterprises in developed markets have the characteristics of large scale and high gross margin. The IT budget of retail enterprises in Europe and the United States accounts for up to 5% of GMV, and the IT budget of Walmart and Metro also accounts for about 2%. According to the charging model of commission based on transaction volume, DMALL is expected to gain more development space in the overseas market.
In the Southeast Asian market, DMALL is more price competitive than traditional software vendors in Europe and the United States. This advantage is reflected in the labor cost. Compared with cross-industry general software, as an industry SaaS focused on the retail industry, DMALL has stronger adaptability. In the developed markets in Europe and the United States, vertical segmentation is a major trend in the SaaS track. Therefore, retail enterprises often need to purchase multiple SaaS products serving different vertical fields, with higher overall costs and problems of system docking and adaptation between different products. However, DMALL can cover the entire chain of retail enterprise operations with a single product, including all core business transaction scenarios.
In the past two years, Chinese industrial Internet enterprises have frequently made moves to go global, actively seeking to integrate into the global market and transforming "Made in China" into "Created in China". The digital transformation of the retail industry has been widely recognized and accepted by global retail enterprises. More and more retailers and international retail giants believe that digitalization is the future of the retail industry, with a stronger awareness of transformation and a higher willingness to pay.
According to the "2022 China Enterprise Globalization Ecosystem Development Report" by CYZone, in addition to Internet giants, a large number of entrepreneurial enterprise service companies are also increasingly popular in the wave of industrial Internet globalization.
In China, DMALL has served customers such as Metro China, Guangdong 7-Eleven, Zhongbai Group, etc., including business forms such as hypermarkets, membership stores, convenience stores, DTC, and discount stores.
